I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to invest in beautiful, sustainable, handcrafted, British woollen clothes and accessories.

Therefore I offer clothes and accessories that I have created by hand from sheep to shoulder using homegrown plant dyes to give the brilliant natural colours.

Additionally, you can visit me to learn the skills and techniques used to create the woollen products in a range of workshops.

This is the ultimate in slow fashion.  Everything is completed by hand, with time and care, to create something special with you in mind.

The Why, the How and the What

I believe that sustainable, biodegradable, low carbon footprint, locally produced British woollen clothes and home furnishings should be easily accessible for all.

Therefore, I only use handspun organic wool from my conservation flock of rare breed Portland sheep or British yarn in my products.

The yarn is naturally dyed, using homegrown organic dye plants to create beautiful, colourful handwoven scarves, rugs and cushions, inspired by the Dorset countryside.  The ends of yarn and fabric are used to make bookmarks, mug rugs and key fobs.

This is the ultimate in slow fashion where everything is made with care for the world’s ecosystem and you, the environmentally aware individual.

Interested in commissioning a piece?  Then please contact me directly, so we can discuss your requirements.

You can find out more about me and my methods on the creator, the process and the plant dye pages.

If you are interested in buying some naturally dyed British wool commercial yarns, please visit Dorset Wool. I also offer workshops on natural dyeing and other woolly crafts.
